Caroline Boot is a recognised presenter and trainer in procurement and contract management; and NZQA-Qualified Assessor for the NZQA Level 6 qualification in Procurement Procedures. She holds an MBA with distinction as well as post-graduate qualifications in education and assessment theory.
Since 1998, Caroline has worked intensively on both the supplier and client sides of procurement. She has taken lead roles in thousands of tender responses; chaired tender evaluation teams for major projects; prepared RFT and prequalification documents for local government organisations; and worked with many experienced tender evaluators.
Caroline’s leadership in procurement has provided clients and suppliers with key insight into the challenges in engaging effectively with each other; and has resulted in implementation of new tools that drive efficiency, intergrity and cooperation across contracting industries.
She is an engaging and interactive conference presenter and procurement/ contract management coach, giving workshop participants excellent opportunities to exchange ideas, debate scenarios and consolidate the theory learned in practical, memorable and interesting ways.
In the past 10 years, Caroline has developed procurement tools that reduced tender evaluation time significantly, as well as providing a robust, fair, targeted and streamlined means of differentiating competing tenders.
